A manual suspended scaffold is an elevated work platform supported by cables or ropes that can be adjusted in height. It is widely used in construction for façade work such as painting, cleaning, and repairs on tall buildings. It provides safety and efficiency for workers.
Both terms refer to the same equipment, a suspended platform used in construction and maintenance work at heights. The manual suspended cradle, also called a manual cradle for civil construction, is manually operated using cranks, allowing height adjustments as needed.
The construction cradle offers greater flexibility and mobility, allowing easy height adjustment and access to different parts of a structure without the need for dismantling and reassembly, as with conventional scaffolding. It also occupies less ground space and is ideal for work in densely urban areas.
